ABOUT THE AUTHOR
ROB HOLLIS MILLER, born in Colfax, Washington, in 1944, lived most of his life in Oregon. He attended Brigham Young University, Portland State University, Eastern Oregon University (B.A.) and Washington State University (M.A. in Creative Writing). Rob has lived in Holland, Belgium and taught in China and Saudi Arabia. His published poems, stories and essays have appeared in a number of magazines and journals, including North American Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Rolling Stone, West Coast Review and New Pathways into Science Fiction and Fantasy. His first book of poetry, Shanghai Creek Fire was published by St. Andrew's Press in 1979. He also published a book of personal essays on China.
